Пишу ему письма иногда. Он очень хорошо и доходчиво объясняет Евангелие Иисуса Христа. Я от него многому научился. Все его проповеди на английском хранятся здесь.

The Voice of the Martyrs

Wurmbrand, who passed through the penal facilities of Craiova, Gherla, the Danube-Black Sea Canal, V?c?re?ti, Malmaison, Cluj, and ultimately Jilava, spent three years in solitary confinement. His wife, Sabina, was arrested in 1950 and spent three years of penal labour on the Canal.

Pastor Wurmbrand was released in 1956, after eight and a half years, and, although warned not to preach, resumed his work in the underground church. He was arrested again in 1959, and sentenced to 25 years. During his imprisonment, he was beaten and tortured.

Eventually, he was the recipient of an amnesty in 1964.

Born in Liverpool, England, Pastor William E. Payne immigrated to Canada in 1959. After studying at Toronto Baptist Seminary, he pastored two churches before founding Trinity Baptist Church in Burlington, Ontario where he served until his promotion to glory in 1997. While giving leadership to the Reformed movement in Canada, Bill also taught Pastoral Theology and Homiletics for 15 years at Toronto Baptist Seminary.

This study really grounded me in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I suggest everyone to study this precious book of the Bible thoroughly. You won't regret it. Of course there are some things that you would probably disagree with the author on some matters, but the main thing is still the same - proclamation of Justification by Faith alone, in Christ alone not by any human merits whatsoever.

This study focused me on Christ Jesus as the Author and Finisher of my faith and provided me with some insights on WHY the Grace of God given to me is so amazing.

This is another series of sermons, which I liked. It leads us through the life of the Lord Jesus Christ in a more or less chronological order.

What I liked about these sermons, was the energetic way in which Dr. Cairns presented the information to the hearers. He is so focused on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that similarly as C.H. Spurgeon he adds the call to salvation in sermons and points people to Christ, rather than pointing to himself. I liked that a lot.

We should be pointing people to Christ as well.
